The tools marketers use to build out goals share messages and promote the brand are the same that communicators should be using as well.
Let’s face it. We’re all focused on creating brand awareness. Communications does an amazing job of conveying the brand story. And marketing does the same with their advertising campaigns.
We all share the responsibility of protecting and promoting brand awareness. Metrics are on everyone’s mind as well. Performance matters. When a campaign isn’t hitting its KPIs, it’s time to pivot.
IC can work with marketing teams to learn how to build out those benchmarks and look at the ones they’re tracking for things like email open rates and for engagement rates with content. If it’s measurable, marketers are watching it.
Lastly, tools and tech. From tools like Trello to Canva, we all have the same challenges in finding and using the most efficient tools to help our teams succeed. Chances are we’re using the same apps. If not, let’s find a way to work together and share those tools.
