Judging from the results of our recent survey of 1,000 deskless employees, many of them feel a sense of isolation and disconnection from their employers. Roughly 30% of respondents believe that increasing the effectiveness of internal communications would go a long way in raising employee engagement levels and job satisfaction.
The companies that employ those who responded to our survey with feelings of isolation have a lot of work to do to remain competitive with the organizations that prioritize employee engagement.
