In today’s healthcare landscape, it is becoming more common that healthcare organizations, and therefore their employees, are geographically spread out. Large healthcare systems may potentially have dozens of hospitals or offices, meaning all employees are not in one central location. For instance, Springfield Clinic, one of the largest private multi-specialty clinics in Illinois, has 50 satellite offices in which they employ more than 2,000 employees. However, Springfield Clinic was not immune to the challenges of reaching their workforce with effective employee communications.

In February 2017, Springfield Clinic partnered with theEMPLOYEEapp by APPrise Mobile to launch the SC Network app, Springfield Clinic’s very own branded mobile app for employee communications. One year later, over 50% of the employee population has downloaded the app and are actively engaging with it. Thanks to the SC Network mobile app, Springfield Clinic’s employee communications have never been stronger.
