For years, I’ve championed for the communications profession—both as a former CEO of a public relations firm and now working hand-in-hand with our communications leaders at client companies as the CEO of mobile app communications technology, APPrise Mobile. I’ve also been a vocal critic of the fact that communicators need to push the envelope and evolve in order to elevate the industry and get the respect we truly deserve.
Communications—especially today—is tough. There are endless communications channels. There is content everywhere. Attention spans are shorter than ever. All of these factors have made it increasingly difficult to captivate and engage audiences. For our clients, this is especially true when it comes to communicating with and engaging deskless workers. Old-school communication methods aren’t as effective or quantifiable. This is where mobile technology presents a significant opportunity.
I recently had the opportunity to participate in The PR Council’s Partner Relations Day, attended by its Digital Community and several fellow PR and communication technology solution providers. During the event, each organization had an opportunity to demo its solution and present case studies of its technology in action. theEMPLOYEEapp was proud to be featured alongside other technology solutions that are making a difference in the field, and to share our vision for transforming the workplace experience for deskless workers through mobile communications.
I invite you to download the day’s resulting 2019 Digital & Social Partner Report to read about theEMPLOYEEapp by APPrise Mobile as well as other leading solution providers looking to help the communications industry.
